The Linda Lorelle Scholarship Fund is pleased to announce our 25th Annivsersary Dinner which will take place on Saturday, September 24, 2016 at the Hyatt Regency in downtown Houston. We will celebrate more than 25 years of dedication to providing college scholarships, support and guidance to Houston area high school students who may have average grades because of life circumstances beyond their control. We will honor our founders, Linda and Lou Gregory, and CenterPoint Energy/ Diane Englet.
The Linda Lorelle Scholarship Fund was founded in 1991 to encourage and support Houston area youth from challenging backgrounds who have a desire to go to college. Since its inception, the Scholarship Fund has awarded more than $4 million to more than 300 students, most of whom would have been overlooked by other scholarship funds. With the hope, college readiness training, and financial support provided by the LLSF, 85% have graduated or are currently pursuing a college degree.
